Wow, the month of December flew by! My yard sale treasures on Ebay proved successful for the holidays. Interestingly, it is January and the sales are still coming in. However, it is time for me to try to expand my options for making money online. No, I am not giving up my yard sales and garage sales. You know I am addicted and I have never denied it. If there is a yard sale going on, I will be there!
I simply want to find other successful sites to sell my treasures on. Tradesy is a great site because it costs nothing to post an item for sale but it is not generating the income I would like. I have held back some clothing from my last yard sale finds to try a new site called Vinted. They also offer free listings for your items.
Today my husband will take some great pictures of my yard sale clothes to list on Vinted. They are all new with tags which I think is a good way to start on a new site. It should lower the risk of returns until I get used to working on the site. I found a perfect mannequin front to dress for the pictures. I only paid 30 cents for it at a thrift store that was going out of business. Also picked up mannequin heads for display and a vintage sweater at the same place. All were 30 cents each! Padded and wooden hangers were free!
How about you? Have you thought of other ways to expand your options for making money online? If so, be sure to let me know how it is going. In the meantime, Happy New Year and happy treasure hunting!
