Most estate sales take place indoors. Now, if you show up late for an estate sale and think you have missed out, just take a deep breath and look down. That’s right, you are going to be looking where no one else is looking…down. I cannot tell you all the wonderful vintage and useful treasures I have found that were hidden in corners, closets or tucked under tables.
I found this beautiful Atlantic mold 70’s Christmas tree buried under a pile of clothes on the floor of a closet.
This lovely standing sewing basket and everything in it was hidden in a corner just waiting for me to spot it.
Everyone thought the plastic bin under the table was empty but one pull on it landed me this treasure drove of art supplies.
When you find hidden, buried or tucked away estate treasures, you will have to ask the seller for a price. Make this work to your advantage by offering a low bid right from the start. If the seller asks for a few dollars more, you will still be ahead of the game. You don’t have to be the first one in the door at every sale. You just need to know where to look!
